Details:
This summer, something extraordinary is coming to Fort Worth. An exciting new project between the Fort Worth Museum of Science & History and renowned arts educator Deborah Jung will bring KidPower Camp to life, culminating in an inspiring live performance on August 1, 2026 at the Jane and John Justin Foundation Omni Theatre.
A Summer of Creativity, Leadership, and Real-World Skills
KidPower Camp runs throughout July 2026, beginning with leadership selection and training, followed by three immersive weeks of rehearsal, collaboration, and creation.
Participants don’t just perform, they build a company.
From day one, students engage in:
Musical theatre training (acting, singing, choreography, staging)
Real-world rehearsal processes alongside professional designers and directors
Entrepreneurial leadership through a dedicated Kids Business Team
Team-building experiences that foster confidence, communication, and collaboration.
By the second week, professional technical teams join the process, preparing the production for its transition into the iconic Jane and John Justin Foundation Omni Theatre.
The program culminates in two live performances on August 1, where students will present their work to family, friends and members of the broader Fort Worth community.
