This is a beginner friendly wet felting workshop led by Shaker Village neighbor and friend Betsey Leslie of Ewes to You Farm in New Gloucester.
Wet felting uses wool roving and other exotic fibers combined with bubble wrap as resistance and soap and water to felt and shrink to fit. You’ll create a unique design and complete your own personal journal cover that will be removable and refillable.
If you have a journal that you’d like to cover, bring it with you — we will also have different size journals to choose from. All supplies will be provided, just bring your imagination!
All the wool is hand-dyed by Betsey, custom made for this workshop and projects.
Don’t be shy, all levels of fiber friends welcome. Betsey will help you create your vision! Have fun, learn something new and enjoy the serenity of the Shaker Village.
