Details:
Join us for the "Stained Glass Flowers" workshop on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 9 am to 3 pm, nestled in the serene Shaker Village Herb Garden. This hands-on experience led by the talented Bonnie Faulkner invites you to create your own enduring bouquet while embracing the Shaker principles of simplicity and harmony. You'll learn the art of stained glass using the copper foil method, engaging in each stage—from cutting and shaping to assembling and soldering—with thoughtful attention. As you craft 3-4 unique glass flowers, you'll have the opportunity to reflect and connect with your creativity and the beauty of nature. Participants will leave with a radiant glass flower arrangement in a vase, a sense of tranquility, and a deeper appreciation for both art and the natural world. All materials are provided, and no previous experience is required—just a readiness to be inspired. With a class size limited to 8, ensure your spot today! Additionally, members of The Friends of the Shakers enjoy a $5 discount on the workshop.
