Reading Dragons card enthusiasts can join the Dragon Guild where every Thursday in July, there will be a different Reading Dragons themed activity. Play dragon-themed card games and bingo, do scavenger hunts, or color, craft paper dolls, and heal creatures with paper potions—activities will vary each week. There may even be opportunities to earn extra cards!
Reading Dragons and Friends is a card game designed by the Dover Public Library in Dover, Ohio created to excite kids about reading. The Freeport Community Library offers Reading Dragons and Friends cards as part of the Summer Reading & Math Program, which can be joined until August 12. The SRMP is open to kids in grade 12 and under who are Freeport residents, students of Freeport schools, or Freeport Community Library (FCL) card holders.
