The Town of Warrenton Parks and Recreation Department was established in 2007 with the opening of the Warrenton Aquatic and Recreation Facility (WARF). The department manages seven parks in addition to the WARF, offering a balance of recreational facilities, programs, and open space to enrich residents' lives. The department's mission is to enhance the quality of life by connecting the community to accessible services, diverse programs, and well-maintained parks and facilities, striving to be a leading provider of high-quality recreational opportunities. They offer a variety of activities including swimming, skateboarding, walking trails, and exercise classes, and host special events and programs open to all.
