Perfect for beginners looking for a one-session introduction. Our Bootcamp offers a complete and welcoming way to learn Mahjong.
In this session, you will learn to play Mahjong in one immersive, hands-on experience. This bootcamp runs up to four hours, combining expert instruction with guided play. You’ll be ready to join any Mahjong game after this session!
The first portion of the session focuses on building a strong foundation: learn how to read and use the National Mahjong card, understand suits and patterns, and how to set up the Mahjong table. Then we’ll move into dealing tiles and performing the Charleston. Before you know it, you will be building winning hands and playing the game.
In the final hour, we will focus on guided play where you can practice multiple full rounds, ask questions and build confidence at the table.
