Dancing on the Square, a cherished Friday night tradition in Robbinsville, returns this year with an extended season from May 15 to August 28, offering an exciting mix of returning acts and new performers. Highlighting this season are two special America 250th Square Dance Celebrations on June 19 and August 28, featuring Grammy-nominated bluegrass musician Darren Nicholson and renowned dance caller Heidi Kulas. The celebrations are designed for dancers of all ages and experience levels, ensuring that everyone can join in and have fun, regardless of prior dance experience.

As part of the Southern Appalachian community dance heritage, this series transforms the Courthouse Square into a vibrant dance hall where locals and visitors alike converge to enjoy the lively atmosphere. The season lineup includes a variety of musical performances, with featured artists such as Kevin Tuck & TUCK-aseegee and other regional favorites, ensuring a diverse selection of dance music. Events begin at 7:30 PM each Friday, with indoor accommodations at the Graham County Community Building available in case of rain. All events are free and open to the public, celebrating the rich musical and dance traditions that have brought the community together for generations.
