Join us for "The Hidden Fortress," part of the Arthouse 101 series, on Thursday, August 6, at 7:30 p.m. This 1958 action-adventure film by acclaimed director Akira Kurosawa runs for 2 hours and 6 minutes and is presented in Japanese with English subtitles on 35mm film. The story follows two peasants in medieval Japan who unwittingly assist an undercover general and princess while seeking fortune amidst warring clans.
