Rated R - 1 hour, 33 minutes - 1974 - Comedy, Western, Satire

>> Scheduled to show on 35mm film
In the Old West, corrupt attorney general Hedley Lamarr wants to depopulate the town of Rock Ridge to make millions off of land speculation. Manipulating circumstances, he angles to have a black railroad worker appointed sheriff, only to find out the new sheriff is way more capable than he imagined.
Why we're showing it: A satirical, iconoclastic take on the Western, Blazing Saddles is one of Mel Brooks' most celebrated (and controversial!) films. With non-stop gags, it takes aim at all types of racial prejudice while stars Cleavon Little, Gene Wilder and Madeline Kahn light up the screen.
+ The bar will be open for evening showtimes.
