Back to the Basics is a digital skills series designed to help you acquire foundational knowledge of computer basics in order to be successful in the digital world. This Microsoft Word Level 2 course is designed for users who want to strengthen their skills in creating professional, academic-quality documents. In this class, you will explore essential tools that support scholarly writing, with a focus on features found in the References and Review tabs such as citations, bibliographies, table of contents, and headings. You will also learn additional formatting and editing tools that enhance clarity, consistency, and document structure. *This course requires participants to be comfortable using a computer mouse and keyboard and have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word Programs and events are photographed or videotaped for library promotional purposes, including social media. If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please notify library staff.
