In today's world, having basic computer literacy is essential. It involves understanding the functions of a computer, the internet, software, and more. Back to the Basics is a digital skills series designed to help you acquire foundational knowledge of computer basics in order to be successful in the digital world. This basic internet and web browsing course is designed for beginners who want to learn more about how to connect to the internet and navigate the World Wide Web. Participants will learn to set up and connect to an internet source (e.g., Wi-Fi) , navigate the web using search engines, and analyze key elements of a webpage to locate information and assess the credibility of online sources. Programs and events are photographed or videotaped for library promotional purposes, including social media. If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please notify library staff.
