Get ready for an unforgettable night of Norteño music, dancing, and downtown summer vibes as Joliet’s own Grupo Avanzado takes over City Square for Week 8 of Sounds on 66!
Grupo Avanzado brings the energy of modern Norteño and Regional Mexican music straight to the heart of downtown Joliet with powerful rhythms, accordion-driven melodies, and a live show built for dancing all night long. Based right here in Joliet, the band has been building a strong following around the Chicago area with their “Grupo Norteño Chaka” sound and high-energy performances.
