Blacksmith, 4 week course

This is a 4 part workshop. In the first two sessions we will form a blade out of a mid to low grade steel. In the third session we will clean, grind the blade, and add the layers of wood to the handle. In the fourth session, we will shape the handle for a finished knife. Each person will make a knife to keep. Each knife will be unique to each person’s ability and preferences. We prefer that each student takes our basic blacksmithing class first. This will give the students an advantage; however, it is okay to take this workshop with no experience or previous classes at all. It is designed for beginners with little or no experience at all. Please join us for this workshop. This class is held Tuesday evenings.
WARNING: In this workshop you will be hammering allot. The first 2 sessions are two hours of rigorous hammering. No refunds for those who wimp out half way through.
