Intro to Genealogy

Join us for a series of engaging programs at the library!

Start your journey into family history at our "Intro to Genealogy" session, where members of the McGregor Area Genealogy Society will guide you on how to get started, find records, and navigate leading genealogy websites. No registration is needed for this informative event.

Next, enhance your reading experience with our "Learn How to Use Libby!" workshop. Join our volunteer, Sandy, to discover how to download thousands of eBooks, eAudiobooks, and even access your favorite magazines for free. Bring your smartphone or tablet, along with your library card. Registration is required as space is limited, and the workshop is scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month at 1:00 PM.

Finally, unleash your creativity at our "Tuesday Takeover!" Drop in between 1-3 PM to take command of our activity tables featuring art projects and LEGO challenges, perfect for ages 5 and up. Remember, children under 8 must be accompanied by a caregiver. While registration is recommended to help us plan activities, all are welcome to partake in the fun!
