Oak Glen Preserve

Oak Glen Preserve, managed by The Wildlands Conservancy, is a 909-acre natural haven in the San Bernardino Mountains foothills. It features diverse montane habitats, including oak woodlands, conifer forests, and chaparral, serving as a sanctuary for wildlife. The preserve hosts the Southern California Montane Botanic Garden and a Children's Outdoor Discovery Center, offering environmental education programs, guided nature walks, and workshops for students and families. It also incorporates the historic Los Rios Rancho apple orchard, allowing visitors to engage in activities like apple picking and enjoying local produce. The preserve is dedicated to land stewardship, public education, and providing free access for recreation, attracting over 600,000 visitors annually.
