The Holy Family Quilters Group, also known as the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Quilting Ladies, meets every Tuesday morning from 8:00 to 10:00 am in the St. Mary’s Church basement. This group dedicates their efforts to creating quilts for the less fortunate in the community, as well as lap quilts for local nursing homes. They welcome donations of small pieces or yardage of new material, along with clean blankets, mattress pads, and sewing supplies. Items can be dropped off at the church office, or for pickup, interested donors can contact Karen at (262) 629-4193.
