The Ritz Theatre, a historic 1927 silent movie house renovated in 1985 by the Tennessee Valley Art Association (TVAA), serves as a performing arts venue. It preserves its original Art Deco interior and hosts theatrical productions, concerts, and films. The theatre is also available as a rental space for various events and offers educational theatre arts programs for young audiences and school districts. The TVAA's mission is to provide high-quality cultural and educational arts experiences to diverse communities in Northwest Alabama, fostering expression and appreciation for all arts.
