Details:
Join us for "Tales That Wag," a unique program designed to enhance reading skills in a relaxed environment. Participants read aloud to therapy dogs, providing a comforting presence that encourages confidence, especially for those who struggle with reading in front of others. In addition, you can visit with these adorable therapy dogs weekly in the Library’s Community Space. These loving companions not only offer furry friendship but also help reduce stress and anxiety. Our dedicated handlers, who are compassionate volunteers from the local community, ensure safe and enriching interactions. Their efforts extend beyond this program, as they also serve nursing homes, retirement communities, classrooms, and more, making Crawford County a better place for all.
