Juneteenth Celebration at the Flint Cultural Center
Saturday, June 20, 2026 | 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Location: Longway Planetarium Greenspace | 1310 E. Kearsley St. Flint, MI 48503
Partnering for our fifth year with the Flint Cultural Center to bring blackness throughout the Flint Cultural Center campus, including: Flint Institute of Arts, Gloria Cole Flint Public Library, Flint Institute of Music, Sloan Museum of Discovery, Longway Planetarium, Applewood Estate & Whaley Historical House.
The traditional Freedom March will start at noon to provide spiritual coverage - led by Hamady High School Marching Band. Other festivities include live music featuring Mama Sol, bounce houses and hands-on activities for children, food trucks, and plenty of vendors to shop from. Come join the fun! All future black artists, musicians, actors, and dancers are especially invited!
