Details:
GHS will host a workshop designed for pastors, church staff, faith-based clinicians, and other lay leaders to effectively help individuals impacted by suicide by skill-building and providing resources.
Participants will:
• Learn how to create worship resources
• Receive statistics, trends, and rates of suicide among people of color
• Train congregation members in suicide awareness and basic conversation skills
Individuals who have experienced suicidal thoughts will tell their stories.
