This course is a study of the systematic
elimination of the various parts of a system or
process to locate a malfunctioning part. The
learner will obtain a knowledgeable
understanding of the key symbols and
abbreviations associated with the electrical trade,
acquire a comprehensive understanding of the
various devices associated with an electrical
circuit, synthesize a number of electrical
components, recognize a malfunctioning circuit
through proper meter application, and apply
informed terminology
while troubleshooting and restoring a
malfunction. This course includes a comparison
of NEMA and IEC prints.
