Join us for a vibrant and creative morning summer sewing camp! Over three fun-filled days, budding fashionistas will learn the art of crafting stylish summer essentials. Creating summer skirt or shorts with matching accessories young designers will unleash their creativity while mastering essential sewing techniques. With personalized guidance and plenty of inspiration, campers will leave with a summer creations as unique as they are. Don't miss this opportunity to sew, style, and shine under the sun!
What You'll Take Home:
A summer skirt or shorts
A matching accessory
All materials are included and equipment provided. If the child has access to their own sewing machine this would be helpful but not needed.
Instructor Info:
Louise Ferguson is the Executive Director for the Fernie & District Arts Council. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Arts University Bournemouth, England, specialising in Costume. Louise has previously worked in costume departments in the London theatre community, national Ballet, and gained experience in fashion history curation. Upon leaving England she worked at Walt Disney World, Florida in the largest costume department in the world and as a seamstress in Fernie.
Accessibility Note
This workshop is planned to take place in our upstairs studios, which are accessed by steep stairs. If you require main-level access, please indicate this in your event registration, and we will accommodate your needs.
