Free Summer Hike Series with Cub Scouts- Jacks Peak Monterey

Welcome to the 2026 Summer Hike Series!
This event is for the Jacks Peak. Please look for our other events for a trail near you!
Hit the trails with us this season for fresh air, outdoor adventure, and quality family time. These family-friendly hikes are completely FREE and open to all Cub Scouts, families, and friends. Whether your family is already in Scouting or you are completely new and looking to connect with a supportive local community, you are invited to join the adventure!
Plus, every youth who participates will take home a colorful event patch to celebrate their trail accomplishment.
Important Logistics:
Attendance is free, but space is strictly limited at each location to ensure trail safety. Exact meeting locations and arrival details will be emailed to registered families prior to each hike. Please note that some parks require a vehicle parking fee (State Park parking passes may be accepted where applicable).

Saturday, August 8 | 10:00 AM – Almaden Quicksilver County Park (San Jose)
Saturday, August 15 | 10:00 AM – Alum Rock Park (San Jose)
