ADVENTURE + CONFIDENCE + A JUNGLE-SIZED SUMMER FOR AGES 8-18
This summer, the jungle is calling — and it is not using its indoor voice. Green Tea Youth Theatre Company’s Jungalbook Summer Camp invites young performers ages 8–18 to leap into four weeks of theatre, storytelling, creativity, teamwork, movement, music, and full-on summer adventure.
Running June 23–July 17, 2026, at The Capitol Encore Academy in downtown Fayetteville, North Carolina, this youth theatre summer camp gives students the chance to build confidence, make new friends, and work toward a full theatrical production inspired by Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book.
Inspired by the wild world of The Jungle Book, Jungalbook follows the spirit of adventure, belonging, courage, and growing up in a world that does not always play by polite little rules. Campers will explore character, ensemble work, movement, storytelling, design, and performance through a welcoming process designed for both brand-new theatre kids and already-stage-obsessed young artists.
Over the course of camp, students will collaborate, imagine, rehearse, and create together, culminating in public performances on July 17 and 18, 2026.
This is not a sit-still-and-smile kind of summer. This is the bear necessities of theatre camp: fun, friends, adventure, creativity, confidence, and the thrill of making something live in front of an audience. In true Green Tea and Sweet Tea fashion, campers will experience theatre as something energetic, communal, and joyfully human — the kind of experience where young artists learn that their voice matters, their imagination has muscle, and teamwork can be its own kind of jungle magic.
Spaces are limited for this four-week camp, with a capacity of 30 students. Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–3:30 PM, from June 23–July 17, 2026, at The Capitol Encore Academy, 126 Hay Street, Fayetteville, NC. Tuition is $325, and scholarships are available for families who need assistance.
Green Tea Youth Theatre Company gratefully recognizes support from the Cumberland Community Foundation SummerTime Kids grant, helping expand scholarship access and participation for young artists.
