Bass Jig Basics

Jigs = Big Bass. Period.
There’s a reason bass jigs have earned legendary status—they flat-out catch fish. Big ones. In this virtual workshop, we’ll take a close look at one of the most versatile and effective lures in bass fishing.
During the program, we’ll break down the different styles of bass jigs, when and where to use them, and how to rig and present them to make them irresistible to bass. You’ll also learn the fundamentals of two must-know techniques—pitching and flipping—with clear demonstrations and tips you can practice on your own the next time you’re on the water.
Know before you log in:
Open to ages 12 and up (youth under 16 should participate with a parent or guardian).
Participants are encouraged to have a rod and reel, a few jigs, and some practice space available if they want to try the techniques after the program.
The session will include instruction, demonstrations, and time for questions.
