Join us for the Raising Confident, Competent Children Seminar, a free learning opportunity for parents and caregivers looking to support their child’s growth and development.
• Wednesday, May 20, 2026
• 12 – 1:30 p.m.
Presented through the Triple P – Positive Parenting Program, this online seminar will be led by providers Sarah Clark and Kendra Vignola and will focus on practical strategies to help children build important social and life skills.
During this session, parents and caregivers will learn how to:
• Encourage children to cooperate
• Develop their child’s social skills
• Teach kids to solve problems and become more independent
• Raise respectful and caring children
• Help children set and achieve goals
The seminar will also include 30 minutes of Q&A, giving parents and caregivers the opportunity to ask questions related to raising confident, capable children.
This seminar is offered through the NC Positive Parenting Project and is part of ongoing efforts to support families and strengthen communities.

During this session, parents and caregivers will learn how to:

• Develop a child’s ability to bounce back from disappointments
• Help children express strong feelings in a healthy way
