Temporary Exhibit: Arlington Changemakers 250

The Arlington Historical Museum is currently showcasing two engaging temporary exhibits: "Arlington Changemakers 250" and "We the People."

"Arlington Changemakers 250" highlights influential individuals whose contributions have significantly shaped Arlington’s history and community, recognizing local leaders, advocates, and innovators. This exhibit, part of the Arlington 250 initiative, encourages visitors to reflect on the impact one can have on their community, celebrating stories that define Arlington's past, present, and future.

In conjunction, "We the People," a traveling exhibition from the Virginia Museum of History & Culture, explores the rich and diverse experiences of immigrants who have shaped Virginia from colonial times to today. Opening July 12, this exhibit features stories, images, and historical artifacts that illuminate the ongoing influence of immigration on the Commonwealth’s culture, economy, and identity, inviting visitors to consider the meaning of being a Virginian and an American.

Together, these exhibits provide a comprehensive perspective on the people and stories that form the foundation of Arlington and Virginia's heritage.
