AHS is at Library Fest

Join AHS at the Library Fest, a free community celebration honoring history, reading, and America's 250th birthday. Experience Arlington's rich stories while enjoying live music, spoken word performances, genealogy and digitization workshops, and hands-on crafts like printmaking. Engage in Summer Reading activities, craft your own digital quilt square, and write letters to future Arlingtonians. Remember to bring a picnic or choose from local food trucks while children enjoy free popcorn, all in a family-friendly atmosphere. Additionally, don't miss the new temporary exhibits at the Arlington Historical Museum: "We the People," showcasing the diverse immigrant experiences shaping Virginia from colonial times to today, and "Arlington Changemakers 250," highlighting local leaders and celebrating the U.S. Bicentennial. The museum is open on weekends with free entry. Public transit or biking is highly encouraged due to limited parking. All ages are welcome!
