LIBERTY CENTER - Backyard Buddies Camp

Join us for an exciting week of creativity at Liberty Center's Summer Art Camps from June 15 to 19! We are hosting two unique camps catering to different age groups.

The Backyard Buddies Camp runs from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm for ages 7 to 12, led by instructor Sharon Theard. Campers will immerse themselves in nature, creating fun projects like birdfeeders, painted fireflies, mixed media beehives, and sculpted praying mantises, all while celebrating local wildlife. The camp concludes with an art show for friends and family on Friday.

Simultaneously, young explorers aged 5 to 9 can join the Under the Sea Camp from 9:30 to 11:30 am, guided by Lilly Persinger. This camp features underwater-themed art activities, including building 3D aquariums, creating sea turtle pointillism, and designing their own sea monsters, also culminating in an art show on Friday.

Additionally, for ages 7 to 12, Inky Expectations: Printmaking & Photography Camp runs from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, where campers can explore art through iconic styles or dive into printmaking and digital photography with instructor Billy Simms. This camp also wraps up with an art show showcasing the young artists’ works.

Pricing is $110 for Backyard Buddies and Inky Expectations camps (members), $130 (non-members); Under the Sea Camp costs $74 (members) and $94 (non-members). Join us for a week full of artistic discovery, fun, and community celebration!
