Join Dino Ridge travel guides on a St. George, Utah journey starting with the renowned Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm, home to an extraordinary Early Jurassic tracksite preserving dinosaur footprints from 200 million years ago. Dr. Jerry Harris will treat us to an evening geology talk after a day of behind-the-scenes collections and fossil prep lab tours.
On Sunday, a true paleo experience at the Substation Quarry as we excavate fossils alongside local experts.
Monday features a full-day field excursion with Lead Paleontologist Andrew Milner, exploring regional geology, lesser-known dinosaur tracksites, and scenic sandstone landscapes.
On Tuesday, we will wrap up with a visit to the Red Hills Desert Garden, where dinosaur tracks are preserved among striking Navajo sandstone.
Trip is limited to 13 participants.
