A gentle yoga class created for cancer survivors seeking movement, relaxation, and community. Practices include slow, accessible yoga postures in chairs seated or standing, breathing techniques, guided relaxation to support healing, reduce stress, and reconnect with the body. The class is open to all levels, and movements can be modified to accommodate different energy levels and physical needs. Emily Gilligan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and 500-hour yoga teacher who has committed her life to empowering others on their healing journey of heart, mind, body, and soul. With her clinical background focused on health and wellness for over 10 years as well as her trauma-informed yoga teaching style, her expertise honors the whole person and taps into the wisdom available to each unique individual.
