Kids Club - Clay Handbuilding Pinch Pots

Join us for a beginner-friendly handbuilding class where students learn to shape clay using the ancient pinch method. No prior pottery experience is required. Students use their thumbs and fingers to compress, shape and hollow out a ball of clay to create functional pieces like cups, bowls, or a sculptural object. Then using colored slips and tools, students will add color and texture to their masterpieces and we take care of the rest. We will add a clear glaze and fire in our kiln for a food-safe water resistant finished piece. Projects are ready for pick up within 1-2 weeks.
