Healthy Plate for Adults/Parents/Caregivers/Families is a hands-on, engaging nutrition education series where participants learn to stretch their food budgets and create healthy, affordable meals. Join Certified Public Health Education Specialist, David Gutierrez from the Weld County Department of Pubic Health over the course of six sessions, where attendees gain practical cooking skills, meal-planning tips, and food safety knowledge. Sessions involve participatory cooking, interactive nutrition activities, grocery store visits, communal meals, and a celebratory graduation for those who complete at least four classes. Children ages 6 -12 are welcome with their caregivers. Please register each member who will be attending. Please know you are committing to attending the SIX session series, one of which is an off-site visit to a local grocery store on June 29th!

Designed as a condensed version of the six-week series, HPAH is a convenient option for those looking to build practical cooking and nutrition skills.
