Details:
Has it been a while since you rode your bike? Or maybe you always wanted to learn to ride, but never got around to it? Don't let age get in your way!
Join City of Eugene Transportation, Recreation, Shift, AARP, LCOG and Safe Routes to School for an adult Learn2Ride workshop from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and explore options to get you back on the bike trail.
You’ll learn about PeaceHealth Rides bikeshare, and adaptive cycling. Join us for hands-on learning.
Free helmets provided by PeaceHealth.
Bikes and helmets will be available if you don't have one. But if you do, bring your bike and helmet, and don't forget to bring a friend!
Shift Community Cycles will be on hand to perform helmet fittings and safety checks on all bikes brought from home.
After you are done, stop by the AARP table and get a bike bell for your bike too!
To quote one participant last year, it could be your "best morning ever!"
