Step into a world of gods, heroes, monsters, and magic! The Teen The Mythology Guild is the perfect place for mythology enthusiasts to connect, create, and have fun. Each meeting dives into fascinating myths from around the world—Greek, Norse, Egyptian, Japanese, and beyond—through lively discussions, creative crafts, and epic games. Whether you’re obsessed with Percy Jackson, love learning about ancient cultures, or just enjoy a good tale, this club is for you!
In this session discover the rich mythology and artistry of the Maya. We will explore captivating stories such as the Hero Twins, Chechén and Chacá, and The Gift to the Hummingbird. Participants will also learn about the significance of the jade mosaic mask in Maya culture and create their own mini mosaic inspired by this ancient art form.
For teens ages 13-18. No registration required. This event is run by local teens from Classic Compass.
