Zikr Dance Ensemble

The Zikr Dance Ensemble's outstanding artist roster include some of the finest ballet-trained and contemporary dance professionals from the region along with nationally and internationally recognized guest artists. The company’s 2022 / 2023 Season will feature the world premiere of Artistic Director David Taylor’s visionary work “Portals”, which will be presented in numerous locations in the Denver metro area. Zikr’s performance schedule will also include numerous touring engagements in rural Colorado and northern New Mexico communities. Zikr Dance Ensemble's purpose is to offer multi- media performance experiences that engage audiences on many different levels that are both artistically engaging, educational and that also promote spiritual tolerance and multi-cultural understanding. This season, Zikr’s production of “Portals” will be performed at some outstanding performing arts facilities such as Boulder's Dairy Center, the Lakewood Cultural Center, the Broomfield Auditorium, the Armory Performing Arts Center in Brighton and the new D L Parsons Theatre in Northglenn.
