Details:
Join us for a creative summer experience designed for rising 3rd to 5th graders of all skill levels! Participate in the Art Unleashed Summer Camp, where you'll explore a variety of art techniques and projects that inspire imagination and self-expression over three fun-filled days. Additionally, children with autism can attend the Autism Creates: Pottery Camp, where they will create and glaze their own storytelling bookends using a unique process called paper resist. Taught by local ceramist Jessi Gerak, this camp allows kids to express themselves through pottery. After completing their designs, campers can return on Wednesday, July 1, at 1 p.m. to the Lakewood Library to pick up their first project and create an additional simpler project.
