Stroll through the Elm Street Plaza, the Church Street Pedestrian Walkway, the Westfield Athenaeum Esplanade, and three city blocks of historic downtown Westfield. Discover beautiful artwork, meet talented creators, browse books, enjoy live performances, explore pop-up galleries, shop local boutiques, and relax at downtown restaurants, cafés, coffee shops and pubs. Originally launched in 2017 as a small pop-up art and literature show inside Old Town Hall during Westfield PumpkinFest, ARToberFEST has grown into one of the Pioneer Valley's premier outdoor art festivals, welcoming artists, authors and visitors from throughout western Massachusetts and across New England. ARTISTS ALONG ELM More than 75 juried fine artists and artisans from Westfield, the Pioneer Valley, western Massachusetts, greater New England and beyond will transform downtown into an open-air gallery. Explore painting, drawing, mixed media, collage, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and artisan-quality glass, wood, clay and metalwork—all available for purchase directly from the artists. Oh, the things you'll see! AUTHORS ALONG ELM Meet local and regional authors, poets, writers and publishers as they share their stories, sign books and talk about the craft of writing.
