Street Tree Inventory Volunteer Days

The City of Ellsworth’s urban forest needs your help! Join us at City Hall on Wednesdays and Fridays from July 15 to August 14, from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm in assisting with Ellsworth’s street tree inventory. Volunteers will use their smartphones to collect tree measurements along city streets.

This data will be used to inform decisions regarding the future of the urban forest in Ellsworth. Volunteers should dress for the weather, bring water, comfortable shoes for walking, a measuring tape, a smartphone or tablet if available, or if not a pencil and clipboard.
