**Intro to Bluegrass Banjo with John Boulding** offers an adult-level class focusing on the fundamentals of bluegrass banjo technique, welcoming older teens and dedicated younger students. This 12-week course spans 14 weeks, with breaks the week of October 15 and Thanksgiving week. Classes take place on Mondays from 5:15 to 6:15 PM. Required materials include a 5-string banjo, finger picks, a tuner, and a recording device. No prior experience is needed, and payment plans and scholarships are available. **Elkin JAM (Junior Appalachian Musicians) with Meredith Wilkerson** invites all 4th to 8th graders to learn traditional mountain music, with options to play banjo, guitar, fiddle, or mandolin. Instruments are provided as needed. The program runs for 14 weeks on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 PM, with breaks on October 15 and November 26, and concludes with a final performance on December 3.
