Saturday Fun with Clay- Mishima Pottery for Kids!

Join us for "Saturday Fun with Clay - Mishima Pottery for Kids," a hands-on event designed for children aged 8-12 to explore the delicate art of Mishima pottery. Over three weeks, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on August 8th, 15th, and 22nd, students will learn the intricate technique of inlaid pottery, which involves carving detailed designs into clay and filling them with contrasting colors.

In the first week, participants will hand-build a pottery vessel; in the second week, they will practice the Mishima design technique by creating their own coloring book page on their pottery. Finally, in the third week, they will complete their designs and add color.

Instructor Kara Carlson will guide the kids through this creative journey. Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event, and registration closes 2 days prior.
