Peace, Love Western Days Parade

Join the Elgin Chamber of Commerce for the much-anticipated Peace, Love Western Days celebration, featuring the beloved Grand Parade and vibrant Western Days Festival on Saturday, June 27, 2026. The festivities kick off at 10 AM with the "Peace, Love, Western Days Parade," embracing a fun, colorful 1960s theme as the streets come alive with floats, vehicles, and enthusiastic community members. Local businesses, organizations, and civic groups are encouraged to participate, showcasing their creativity for a $25 entry fee and a chance to win cash prizes across various float categories.

Following the parade, the celebration continues at Elgin Memorial Park (1127 N Main St, Elgin, TX) from 10 AM to 4 PM, offering a day full of activities including shopping at local vendor markets, enjoying delicious festival food, and live music from talented artists such as the Thomas Family Group, Just Hannah, Erik Smallwood, and Ben Zuniga. Competitive fun is also on the agenda with tournaments in cornhole, volleyball, and kickball.
