Join District naturalists and our partners from the American Indian Center of Chicago to experience the prairie through the lens of culture, ecology, and kinship with the indigenous Bison. This immersive program features Indigenous storytelling, guided exploration, and opportunities to learn how bison shape the land and support thriving prairie ecosystems. Participants will rotate through a shared program experience that centers cultural knowledge, environmental learning, and connection to place along with a shared community lunch.
