Meet the Artist in Residence, Shen Rosen

Join us for a conversation with Shen Rosen, the 6th Artist-in-Residence to serve at Westfield Memorial Library. Her artwork will be up from June 1st to the end of July. Hear her story and learn more about the Westfield Art Association!

Shen is a 21-year-old artist from Westfield, New Jersey, now based in Plainfield, whose work uses painting as a way to process and express deeply felt emotions. Her paintings emerge from a visceral, pre-verbal space, transforming lived experience into raw visual form.

During her residency, she will be creating artwork on-site, planning workshops and sharing her artistic expression with the community.
