30th Annual Chicano Music Festival

The 30th Annual Chicano Music Festival is a four-day tribute to the cultural messiahs who keep our culture alive: it is a roots music festival celebrating music created on this side of the US-Mexico border. Wednesday, July 29 – Music on Film Kick off the 30th Annual Chicano Music Festival with an evening celebrating music on screen. Enjoy a live performance by Kinari followed by a free screening of Bird of Four Hundred Voices: A Mexican American Memoir of Music and Belonging, an inspiring exploration of culture, identity and the power of music to connect generations. Free admission. Thursday, July 30 – Chicano Music Hall of Fame & Noche Tradicional Celebrate Colorado's musical legacy at the Chicano Music Hall of Fame Induction and Noche Tradicional Concert. Honor this year's inductees—Next in Line, Felisa Hernandez (Latin Soul) , and Chris & Rodney Arellano—followed by an evening of live music celebrating the artists and traditions that continue to shape Chicano culture. 6:30 p.m. • $8 admission. Friday, July 31 – All-Star Jam Experience one unforgettable night as outstanding musicians from across the festival come together for the annual All-Star Jam. Expect spontaneous collaborations, classic favorites and an energetic celebration of Chicano music in an intimate concert setting. 6:30 p.m. • $8 admission. Saturday, August 1 – Summer Pachanga Dance the night away at the Summer Pachanga, the biggest dance party of the summer! Featuring live performances by Poquito Mas and Los Martinez Bros., this high-energy evening brings together great music, dancing and community for one of Denver's favorite summer traditions. 6:00 p.m. • $25 admission. Sunday, August 2 – Mariachi Tardeada Spend a summer afternoon enjoying the rich sounds of mariachi in the comfort of Su Teatro's air-conditioned theater. Featuring Mariachi Vasquez, Mariachi Alma de Folklore and Mariachi Alegre, plus burgers on the grill, this family-friendly concert is the perfect finale to the 30th Annual Chicano Music Festival. 1:00 p.m. • $20 admission.
