Commander Convention & Tournament: Summer Classic III

North Star CEDH and Wyldwolf Games bring you the Summer Classic III, a premier competitive Commander event for high-level cEDH play with major prizing up to $15k and a full convention experience to Minneapolis.

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
‣ Our tournament will take place at the Minneapolis Convention Center
‣ Entry to the cEDH Main Event is $120
‣ Entry to watch matches or explore the rest of the convention is free
‣ Side events will be held throughout the competition
‣ The event will be streamed live on Twitch at NorthstarCEDH
‣ With anticipated turnout, this event is expected to qualify as a Diamond Event for the invitational

𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲
This tournament will feature self check-in and self-reporting of wins. Each round will be 80 minutes in length. After time is called, the active player will finish their turn. If no winner is determined within 20 additional minutes, the game will result in a draw.

‣ Wins are worth 5 points
‣ Draws are worth 1 point

‣ 6 rounds of Swiss
‣ Cut to the Top 100 players
𝘿𝙖𝙮 2
‣ 2 rounds of Swiss
‣ Cut to Top 16
‣ Semifinals and Finals

‣ This tournament will be held at Competitive REL
‣ The event will utilize the Competitive MTR/IPG Addendum created by Eminence
‣ Pairings and turn order will be determined using Command Tower

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘅𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆
This event is proxy friendly, with the following requirements:
‣ Proxies must be indistinguishable while sleeved
‣ There must be no way to identify proxies by sleeve openings, thickness, or markings
‣ Proxies must accurately reflect Magic’s color identity
