Story Stroll in Nature

The Story Stroll will begin right outside the front doors of the Bloomington Education and Visitor Center. 3815 American Blvd E, Bloomington, MN 55425 The sun is shining and school is out, which means it's time to get outside for summer! Reading doesn't have to stop just because it's summer break, why not take reading outside? Everyone is invited to take a comfortable stroll at the refuge while following the pages of a children's storybook. All ages are welcome. More books are available in the hearth room. The Story Stroll is easy active and at-your-own pace. What to bring: Comfortable and weather appropriate clothing and shoes are recommended. Accessibility at Bloomington Visitor Center: Restrooms and water fountains are located inside the visitor center. Handicap parking and dropoff available. Visitor center is flat aggregate or carpeted flooring with ramps to access all areas. There are benches and rest areas around the visitor center. The Story Stroll may be indoors or outdoors depending on weather. The Story Stroll path will be aggregate paved and transition into a cement paved path with no steep slopes. The entire walk is <0.25 miles. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is committed to providing access to these events for all participants.
