Details:
Join Sound Bath Facilitators Karen Park and Sara Martin as they "bathe" participants in the sound waves and frequencies produced by various healing instruments including singing bowls, gongs, drums, rattles, tuning forks and chimes. Among the many benefits are relaxation, an increased sense of wellbeing, expanded awareness, and access to inner visionary experiences. The sound bath will begin with a guided meditation. Participants commonly lie on the floor for the experience; bring your yoga mat or something similar, a pillow and blanket and wear comfortable clothes. Chairs will be available. No prior experience is needed.
Doors open at 6:15 pm, participants are encouraged to arrive early to set up their space and relax. Make an evening of it by visiting Hobbs Observatory (a short 5 minute walk within the Reserve) for the Astronomical Series beginning at 8 pm, followed by Public Observing until 11 pm, if skies are clear.
Ages: 8+ (Children must be accompanied by an adult)
Cost: BCR Member $10 and Non-member $12
