Details:
A bird’s nest is its home. Or is it? Why and how do birds build nests, and most importantly, why do some birds’ nests seem less sophisticated than others? Let’s look at the many ways birds build nests, from elaborate cup nests and cavity nests to seemingly random spots on an open roof, and places so secretive you wouldn’t even know a bird was living there! Learn how nesting habitat matters to birds and how you can protect their homes and help them thrive. Presented by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) as part of TPL’s environmental program series, Our Fragile Planet . Photo provided by TRCA. Drop-in, no registration required. If you would like to receive a reminder email or phone call before the event, please click the "register" button to provide us with your contact information.
