East York Compost Day

Get your shovels ready! I have arranged for free compost to be dropped at the East York Civic Centre on Tuesday, June 23rd at 8 a.m. during the weekly East York Farmers' Market. Get your compost then pick up some fresh, local food from the great vendors of the East York Farmers' Market, open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Compost will be dropped off in the northwest area of the East York Civic Centre near the intersection of Memorial Park and Durant (see map) . *Please bring your own shovels and containers as compost will not be bagged.* *Compost will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and delivered rain or shine.* Sign up to get my updates on what's happening in Toronto-Danforth and at City Hall.
